Philosophy of Science Seminar
Room 6.54 (6th floor)  Monday 4:00 PM

  Information for the lecturers!
  • The seminar is scheduled in the following way:
    60 minutes talk + 10 minutes break + 30-60 minutes discussion.
  • Blackboard and overhead projector are automatically provided.
  • If you need anything else (computer, video, video projector, etc.), please contact me.
  • The transparencies are recommended to be printed or written with large size fonts (at least 14pt), otherwise they are hardly readable from a distance.
  • If you have an electronic version of your paper or notes related with your seminar talk, please, don't hesitate to send us (or just to give us an URL address), in order to disseminate it through the seminar's web site.
  • Depending on the topic, the audience is a mixture of scholars working in various fields of philosophy, physics, mathematics, biology, cognitive science, computer science, etc. Sometimes graduate students and Ph.D. fellows appear, too.  We traditionally suggest to ignore this fact: The style of the presentation is supposed to respect only the most professional people in the audience.
  • After the seminar talk, we are ready to open a web site for further comments and discussions.
  • I kindly ask you to send me a Title / Affiliation / Abstract before 15th of the previous month, in order to announce the next month seminar program in good time.
Yours,

L. E. Szabó
