Journal Editing - I'm founder editor-in-chief and current editor of the Hungarian analytic philosophy journal Szabad Valtozok and the current president of the Free Variables Association. Our issues can be accessed online here.

Refereeing - In 2009 I refereed for Oxford University Press for their volume "Causality in the Sciences."
I also refereed for the 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Annual CMU-Pittsburgh International Graduate Philosophy Conference.

University Council - Between 2006 and 2008 I was a member of the Arts and Sciences Graduate Council at the University of Pittsburgh; you can read about our work here.
Previously I was elected Student's Council Member and Chair of Education Affairs at the Budapest University of Economics, Faculty of Economics (2002-2003).

  • I was the course coordinator of the Probabilistic Causality Summer School, CEU, 2008.
  • For four years I was the organizer of the Work in Progress Talk series at Pitt. See our website here.
    I co-organized with Miklós Rédei the Students' Philosophy of Science Seminar for many years.
  • In the summer of 2002 I conducted field research for a project on application of non-monotonic logic in social sciences, run by the Organizational Behavior program of Stanford Graduate School of Business.
