The International Advisory Board's role is to guarantee high standards of research and
education at the Department of Cognitive Science, strong international relations of the
Department and international recognition of the degrees awarded by the Graduate Program of
Cognitive Science at NBU. The main activities of the Board are the following:
- peer review of educational programs and course syllabi
- external examination of graduating students
- visiting lectures at NBU
- evaluating the candidates for positions at the Department
- reviewing the research plans of the Department
