    The course presents:-basic concepts-investigation approaches-application and relationships of decision theory.

  9. Main Topics:

    Topic 1: Decision theory in behavioral science (Psychology decision theory). Historical introduction. Normative and descriptive decision theory.

    Topic 2: Decision situations, types and particularity.

    Topic 3: Decision making process stages and experimental approaches.

    Topic 4: Subject motion for decision situation.

    Topic 5: Estimation of decision alternatives. Utility theory (Von Neumann - Morgenstern utility theory).

    Topic 6: Predicating of decisions probability theory. Methods for measuring subjective probability.

    Topic 7: Decision making strategies.

    Topic 8: A theory of risk. (Pollatsek, A., Tversky, A., Huang, L., Coobs, C.)

    Topic 9: Dynamic decision situation. A multistage decision making.

    Topic 10: Decision making in standart and nonstandart situations. Risk, tension, and stress.

    Topic 11: Personality and preference decision strategy.

    Topic 12: Individual and group decisions. Risk in group decisions.

    Topic 13: Multi - criteria decision making.

    Topic 14: Application of psyhological decision theory.

    Topic 15: Relationships with other psychological theories.

    Multiple choice test.
